Agroup of suspected armed South Sudanese have reportedly killed two Ugandan traders who were returning from South Sudan where they had gone to buy livestock.
The incident happened in the wee hours of Thursday morning between Lotukei town in Gudi county; just a kilometer from Kaabong district.
Samson Lokeris, the Dodoth East constituency MP confirmed the incident describing it as unfortunate.
Lokeris is quoted to have said the security situation in Kaabong was getting worse with people dying every day in the hands of armed pastoralists in the neighbouring countries.
The attackers are suspected to be dinkas of S.Sudan.
