Presidential candidate, Amama Mbabazi, is on his way to Luweero town where he will hold a rally.
Amama’s rally left his Kololo home towards mid-day on Thursday.
He has so far made stop overs in Bwaise and Kawempe to address supporters lined by the road sides.
The Matuga-Bombo road is currently blocked and packed with supporters waving and cheering at the former Prime Minister.
The supporters demanded that he first speaks to them before proceeding.
Amama started his campaigns in Masaka, then went to Mukono and Mityana districts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
He has been preaching change and the need for transition of power from one leader to another.
While his opponent in the race and opposition leader, Kizza Besigye, suffers impassable roads, Amama too has to deal with errant pro-Museveni NRM supporters.
They gathered in Masaka on Monday to protest his presence in the district.
Once more, they gathered in Mukono town on Tuesday nearly marring his rally.
The electoral commission chairman, Eng Badru Kiggundu, was forced to ban parallel rallies to protect Mbabazi in that regard.
