Presidential aspirant, Amama Mbabazi, has set off for Mbale town in eastern Uganda to start consultations.
“I have set off for Mbale,” he confirmed in a social media message.
“I hope we shall have a series of fruitful discussions with leaders from the Sub-county level of the entire Elgon region.”
His presidential convoy is said to have gone past Jinja en route to Mbale.
Amama is scheduled to meet up with opinion leaders and groups such as families of FRONASA combatants.
He will then have a public meeting and hear people’s views.
