Many years ago at the age of 13years, Aisha Nabukela was traumatized and burnt by her step mother and to many of us, we knew it was all over until a one Frank Gashumba came to her rescue.
Gashumba as one of the good Samaritans at the moment decided to get Nabukela out of Masaka villages and decided take good care of her as a father.
To Ugandan’s most surprise, Aisha Nabukela was on Tuesday among the many contestants for Miss Uganda 2015 that turned up for auditions at the industrial based club guvnor.
Aisha sends a clear signal to the rest of the world that not all is lost even after you are hit by a catastrophe.
Gashumba to show her support to Nabukela he also hit his social media pages and posted.
“As Amama Mbabazi declares his Presidential Bid, our own miracle girl Aisha Nabukeera is officially running for MISS UGANDA 2015-2016. I personally believe everyone is gifted but most Ugandans never open their package and the tragedy of life is not death but what we let die inside of us while we live. Aisha will have all my support during the contest. I hope you guys support her and also pray for her. We can always be what we want to be as long as we believe in ourselves.”
With the brains and boldness that Nabukela exhibited, not even scars will hamper her chance of victory and therefore it’s should not be a surprise if she is ultimately crowned Miss Uganda, one of the judges said.
Aisha Nabukeera is expected among the top 21 contestants that will fight for the crown come July 10th in Kampala.
