Airtel Uganda has unveiled a new internet connection device dubbed “The Airtel Wingle”.
The Airtel Wingle is a 3G Wi-Fi/Internet device that can connect up to 10 devices without necessarily being plugged into a computer.
It uses a USB power port and can also work in a car.
It connects to all Windows, Android and IOS devices and can create Wi-Fi hotspot with a 3G Simcard.

- The Airtel Wingle can support up to 10 wireless high speed users or (devices) all connected at the same time.
- It’s a plug & play device which means you don’t have to hustle with configurations.
3.The Airtel Wingle can charge from any power source starting with your desktop/laptop to your car charger or even your power bank.
4.The Airtel Wingle can be controlled through the Huawei Mobile Wi-Fi App straight on your Smartphone.
5.Oh! We almost forget to tell you that it uses a Standard USB interface.
How to connect.
Insert an AirtelSIM card into the Airtel Wingle.
Plug it into any power source, this can be a USB port, power adapter or car charger to create a Wi-Fi hot spot.
Charity Winnie Kamusiime, a Digital Marketing Executive at Airtel, says the device costs only Shs 100,000.
“The device is affordable and even comes with 1GB of free mobile data valid for 1 month,” Kamusiime said while speaking at Airtel head offices in Kampala on Tuesday.
