WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) — An “anarchist collective” identifying itself as INDECLINE installed a life-size statue of a naked Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in the middle of a public New York park — just when you thought this election cycle couldn’t get anymore bizarre.
An unidentified spokesman for INDECLINE told The Post the statues based off the the story “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”
“Like it or not, Trump is a larger-than-life figure in world culture at the moment,” said the spokesman, who discussed the project with The Washington Post on the condition of anonymity. “Looking back in history, that’s how those figures were memorialized and idolized in their time — with statues.”
The activists were, let’s say, less than kind to a certain part of The Donald’s figure, where he previously said there was “no problem” adding to the defense of the size of his hands.
