The proprietor of Abitex production, an events company that promotes local artistes has been arrested over a debt of Shs50 million.
Abbey Musinguzi was arrested in Nateete and he’s to be produced before Masaka Magistrate’s Court to be charged.
Seems Musinguzi is a troubled man. We gather that he owes a ruling National Resistances Movement (NRM) chairman for Bukoto central shs50 million.
This is not the first time Musinguzi is being arrested for failure to clears debts.
I’m 2013, he was arrested after he failed to pay Shs17 million.
The money in question arose after he organised an event for Radio and Weasel but the singing duos never showed up.
In September last year, Musinguzi was arrested and detained at Katwe police station over similar charges.
It was alleged that in 2010, Musinguzi was arrested for fighting with president Museveni’s guards over Shs10,000.
