Police in Kasese recovered three dead bodies that were reportedly dumped near Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu palace in Kasese town.
Kasese district police commander, Samuel Odongo, says thugs killed three people including a woman and two men and dumped one near Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu palace in Kijongo village.
The other two were recovered at Base camp hotel owned by late former army commander Maj Gen James Kazini in Kasese town on Sunday morning.
Odongo said the deceased had severe cuts on their faces.
More murders in Kampala
In Kampala, a six-year old boy was knocked dead along Entebbe road on Friday.
Ayan Katongole, a son to city businessman Badru Ssebyatika and Yudaya Bukirwa of Makindye was hit by a speeding vehicle near Kibuye round about as he returned from Bright stars junior school Najjanankumbi.
Kampala Metropolitan traffic commander Norman Musinga said the boy passed on at Makindye medical centre due to internal bleeding.
Meanwhile, police is hunting for kidnappers who murdered Mathias Ddembe, 17, a student at Kisasi SSS.
He was a son to Godfrey Katumba and Margret Zawedde all residents of Mbalwa- Namugongo in Kiira Municipality.
According to Kampala East regional police commander Siragi Bakaleke, Ddembe was kidnapped, murdered and buried in Bukasa KCCA cemetery on May 22.
His body was discovered by police, taken to Mulago mortuary and later buried in a state cemetery.
More so, police at Kawala police station is investigating the poisoning of family of 10 members in Kasubi, a Kampala suburb.
Patrick Oyango, Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson, says two of them died and eight are currently admitted at Mengo hospital.
The dead as Kiyingi Kevin 11 and Naluwoza Latif aged 15 while Namudu Hawa 19, Ssentogo Yasin 22, Mulika Siraji 15 years, Ssemuke Hatibu 13, Sserwanga Bashir 17, Ssekajo Rashid 11, Nalukuma 11, Ahibisibwe 13 are receiving treatment.
It is suspected that an assailant put poison in their dish of beans and posho.
