The first ever Global Pan-African pyramid that was recently held at Fairway hotel gardens is probably supposed to be ranked as one of the biggest diplomatic events of the year 2016.
The event that was graced by different scholars, ranging from Academicians, politicians, human rights activists, business personalities, among other high profile people left blazing with Knowledge about Pan-Africanism.
The glamorous backcloth carpet event unveiled sense of Pan-Africanism at the Kololo based hotel.
African attires like ‘Kitenge’ and backcloth, soft ‘Amagunju’ dances by the Ndere cultural, meat roasting accompanied by locally brewed beer topped the agenda.
The ward giving ceremony was broadcasted by the Naguru based WBS TV and it climaxed at around midnight with different people like Prof. Emmanuel Mutebile, Hon. Alex Ruhunda, Prof. Kajabago Karusooke, Ambassador Olara Otunu among others winning awards.
The Pan-African Pyramid is an intellectual non-partisan discussion forum built on the pillars of pan-Africanism, patriotism and nationalism whose ideal/pre-occupation is to revive intellectual discourse among the youths with a bias of re-constructing our lost Pan-Africanism, patriotism and Nationalism Values and spirit.
The show is broadcast live at Fairway Hotel & Spa in Kampala every Friday 5-9pm and a recorded version of the same telecast on WBS TV every Sunday after 10:00pm.
