The plague has already claimed six lives while 92 others are hospitalised at Nabiganda health Centre IV.
Matovu said they first recorded 25 cases before the number galloped to 92 victims so far.
He told vision that an isolation Centre has been opened at Nabiganda Health Centre IV to handle the cholera cases.
This comes at the same time a strange disease has killed at least six people in Masaka district.
