Another accident along Masaka-Kampala highway has claimed the lives of two people.
Phillip Mukasa, the Katonga Region Police Spokesperson, said the accident happened at Nabyewanga village on Tuesday morning.
Mukasa said the accident involved a commuter Taxi reg No. UAW 122T and a Toyota Mark II reg No. UAN 313C.
Two people died on the sport while a child was badly injured.
The driver of Toyota Mark II only identified as Kangavve, a resident of Muge in Nkozi Sub County, who died in the incident was carrying marijuana and several sachets of Bond7 whisky in his car.
Bodies have been taken to Nkozi Hospital Mortuary.
This follows a series of accidents on the same road that have claimed several travellers.
